Israel Rejects Ceasefire Agreement, Escalates Attacks on Gaza
Accusing Hamas of not agreeing to conditions, Israel is trying to back out of the ceasefire agreement. The Israeli Prime Minister has stated that the cabinet meeting will no longer take place.
Following news of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli Prime Minister has now turned the blame onto Hamas. Netanyahu stated that the cabinet meeting to approve the ceasefire in Gaza will not take place, as Hamas is rejecting parts of the agreement.
The Israeli war cabinet meeting to confirm the ceasefire agreement was scheduled for this morning. However, Netanyahu stated that the cabinet would not convene until the mediators inform Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that the mediators would notify Israel once Hamas accepts all the terms of the agreement.
Hamas has rejected the accusations made by the Israeli Prime Minister, stating that it stands by the ceasefire agreement announced by the mediators.
Following the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli military has intensified its attacks on Gaza. Within 24 hours, the Israeli forces have martyred 82 more Palestinians and injured 188 others.
