Gaza Ceasefire :The Qatari Prime Minister has announced the agreement.

A six-week ceasefire will be implemented in three phases, involving the exchange of civilian prisoners and negotiations to end the conflict.
In the second phase, Hamas will release Israeli captives, and Israeli forces will withdraw from public areas in Gaza. In the third phase, Israeli forces will fully withdraw from Gaza, and reconstruction efforts in Gaza will commence.
Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani stated that efforts by Qatar, Egypt, and the U.S. to mediate the ceasefire agreement have been successful.
He announced that the ceasefire will take effect on January 19, with work underway to implement the phases of the ceasefire with both Hamas and Israel.
The Qatari Prime Minister emphasized maintaining peace in Gaza until the agreement is fully executed. He noted that the agreement will facilitate the release of Israeli captives and increase humanitarian aid to Gaza.
He added, “We will not leave our brothers in Gaza alone.” The agreement is expected to take effect starting Sunday, with the exact timing to be announced later.
In the first phase of the agreement, Israeli and Palestinian prisoners will be released, and displaced individuals will return to their homes.
The Prime Minister also mentioned that during the first phase, injured individuals from Gaza will be allowed to seek medical treatment outside the area. He urged all parties to fulfill their commitments under the agreement.
On the other hand, Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhri described the ceasefire agreement as a significant achievement. He stated, “It is evidence that the Israeli military could not achieve any of its objectives.”
According to foreign media reports, the Israeli cabinet will approve the peace agreement today.

Details of the Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
According to Arab media, the Gaza ceasefire agreement comprises three phases spanning six weeks.
First Phase
During the first phase, Israeli forces will limit their presence within 700 meters of Gaza’s border.
Israel will release approximately 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, including 250 serving life sentences.
In this phase, 33 Israeli captives in Gaza will also be released.
Israel will allow injured individuals to travel out of Gaza for medical treatment.
Seven days after the beginning of this phase, Israel will open the Rafah Crossing with Egypt.
During this period, Israeli forces will retreat from the Philadelphi Corridor near the Egyptian border, eventually withdrawing from this area in subsequent phases.
Earlier, foreign news agencies had claimed that the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas and Israel had agreed to the Gaza ceasefire.
Reuters, citing sources familiar with the ceasefire negotiations, reported that the agreement raises hopes for ending the conflict, which has lasted for over 15 months.
Previously, the Palestinian resistance group Hamas had expressed its willingness to agree to the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
According to Al Jazeera, Hamas informed Qatari and Egyptian mediators of its approval of the ceasefire agreement, with a delegation led by Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya confirming their agreement.
